Mercedes Key Repair and Programming
An ignition lock, key or immobiliser module from a breaker will not work straight after fitting — it has to be matched to the specific car. We sell the part itself; the programming and repair are done by BenzKey, a workshop in Netishyn, the same town as our warehouse.
Why the part needs programming
On a Mercedes the ignition lock (EIS/EZS), the keys and the engine control unit are paired with each other and tied to the body. A used set from another car will therefore be rejected until it is synchronised. This is not a fault in the part — it is how the factory immobiliser works.
