A valve cover is an engine component designed to seal the upper part of the cylinder head and protect the valve train assembly. It prevents oil leakage and shields camshafts, valves, lifters, and timing components from dirt and external contamination.
The cover is mounted on top of the cylinder head and works together with the valve cover gasket, crankcase ventilation system, oil passages, and engine sensors. In modern engines, the cover may include an integrated oil separator, PCV valve, ventilation ports, ignition coil mounts, and sensor interfaces.
A damaged valve cover may cause oil leaks, engine oil smell, contamination of the engine bay, increased oil consumption, crankcase ventilation issues, or abnormal engine noise.
Our catalog includes valve covers for many vehicle brands. Available options include genuine factory engine components, reliable aftermarket replacements, and tested used covers without cracks or deformation. Aluminum and plastic versions, covers with integrated components, and variants for different engines and model generations are available.
Used parts are inspected for cracks, sealing surface condition, ventilation channel integrity, mounting point quality, and absence of overheating marks.
Selection is available by VIN number, engine code, part number, and vehicle year. Replacing a faulty valve cover restores engine sealing and proper crankcase ventilation operation.
